Eden Hill School Horror Story: A Midnight Encounter with Agatha’s Ghost

A terrifying experience happened to me about a year ago at Eden Hill School, just before our final exams. With so much studying left to do, I often used the school library, which normally closed by 5 PM. However, due to exams, the school extended the library hours until midnight, allowing students to prepare in a quiet space. Since my house was nearby, I preferred studying there instead of at home.

That evening, I left home around 6 PM and arrived at the Eden Hill School library, completely immersed in my studies. I was so focused that I lost track of time—it was already 10 PM. I had never stayed that late before. Usually, by 8 PM, I would be on my way home, and even then, there were still a few students around. But at 10 PM, the library was eerily silent. I only had about 10–15 minutes of work left, so I decided to finish quickly before heading home.

As I was studying, a sudden noise broke the silence—someone was limping. A chill ran down my spine. My heart pounded as I quickly packed my books and rushed out of the library. Outside, a long corridor stretched ahead. At the far end, turning right would lead to the school’s exit. As I hurried through the corridor, I saw a woman standing at the far end. I didn’t recognize her, but as I moved closer, an unsettling feeling crept over me. The discomfort became unbearable, and I finally called out, “Who’s there?”

The moment I spoke, she vanished. A wave of relief washed over me, and I continued toward the exit. Exhausted and hungry, I struggled to walk properly. But something felt off—the usually busy street outside Eden Hill School was eerily deserted. Even at night, there were always people around, but now, it was completely empty.

Fear took hold as I kept my eyes on the ground while walking. I was nearly home when I noticed something horrifying—a shadow stretching toward me, even though no one was nearby. My breath caught in my throat as I slowly lifted my head.

A woman was walking ahead of me. Something about her felt… wrong. Her movements were slow and strained, as if she was struggling to walk. Her posture was unnatural, almost as if she were disabled. She moved so sluggishly that I quickly caught up to her. And then, as I got closer, I could see her clearly—

This Eden Hill School horror story still haunts me to this day. Was she a lost soul? A ghostly presence lingering in the darkness? Or something far worse?
